Leanne and the team have built Belle Amie into the kind of salon where folk come for years and get known by their first name. Many of our clients have been with us since the start, and there is always time for a proper chat between appointments.
What makes us handy is that we do hair and beauty together. You can have your cut, colour or a hair-up done and fit in a wax or a beauty treatment in the same visit, without running between two places on the high street.
Whether it is a regular trim or you are getting ready for something special, you will find a warm welcome and a team who take real care over the work. That is why so many of our regulars say they would not go anywhere else.

A few things clients often ask before their first visit.
Do I need to book, or can I walk in?
We would always recommend booking so we can give you the right time with the right stylist. If you fancy popping in, give us a call on 01896 759938 first and we will see what we can fit in.
Can I have hair and beauty done in the same visit?
Yes, that is what we are known for. Many clients have their hair done and a wax or beauty treatment in the one appointment, so it is worth mentioning both when you book.
Is the salon wheelchair accessible?
Yes, we have a wheelchair accessible entrance. If there is anything else we can do to make your visit easier, just let us know when you book.
I have fine or thin hair, can you help?
Of course. Our stylists work with all hair types and will talk through what suits you before we start, so you leave happy with the result.
Where can I park?
We are on Channel Street in the centre of Galashiels with parking nearby. If you are not sure, give us a ring and we will point you to the closest spot.
